Amy Cataldi, Ph.D.
Outstanding Faculty Award
Amy Cataldi began her career at Oklahoma City University as a visiting assistant professor in August 2000. She is presently a tenured associate professor in the Department of Psychology. She earned her B.A. from Boston College, M.A. from Oklahoma City University, and her M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma.
In April 2006, Cataldi received the Innovation in Teaching and Learning Award from the Oklahoma Higher Education Conference. She was nominated for the award by Oklahoma City University’s Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning because of her creative work with service learning in her Lifespan Development course. The course allowed undergraduates and senior citizens to explore life and development issues through reflection and conversations over the course of the semester.
Cataldi has been named Outstanding Faculty Award recipient for 2008, awarded by her peers who recognize her excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service to the university and professional community.
