Jacci L. Rodgers earned her Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma.  She is a certified public accountant and certified management accountant. At Oklahoma City University, Rodgers teaching focus is cost and managerial accounting. Rodgers currently serves as the faculty liaison for assessment, and chair of the Accounting and Information Technology Department in the Meinders School of Business. She has also served as the assistant director of the University Honors program.  Her strong commitment to teaching was first recognized when she was a graduate student at the University of Oklahoma where she was named Outstanding Graduate Assistant and selected as the American Accounting Association Doctoral Student Fellow. Rodgers has also been awarded an Ernst & Whinney Foundation Doctoral Dissertation Grant.  She has been nominated for the American Accounting Association Innovation in Accounting Education Award and is currently nominated for the Oklahoma Outstanding Accounting Educator Award. 

Rodgers serves as a peer evaluator for the Higher Learning Commission, the accrediting body of colleges and universities in the Midwest, and has been an Oklahoma Quality Award examiner.  She has numerous publications and presentations on accounting and assessment topics. Her classes benefit from her consulting and research.  When not working, Rodgers enjoys spending time with her husband, Joe, and her daughters, Rachel and Naomi.  She is honored and humbled to have been nominated and selected for this award by her peers.
